II. Black Rhetoric Zine-makers Doin Their Thing!
- Today we will form three groups and share zines. Choose one facilitator for your group. Choose a different facilitator from last time.
- Each person should do a show n' tell of their zine. First, explain your approach. Second, discuss your definition of BR. Third, walk the group through every zine page and its images (show your zine from your device). Fourth, explain why you chose these images.
- As a group, each person should ask the zine-maker any question they have. Each person should tell the zine-maker what they liked best.
- Go on to the next zine-maker and follow steps #2-3 above until everyone has shared.
- Facilitator (take notes if you like) give an overview. Tell us similarities and differences in how the group's zines were designed and/or how the group's zines defined BR. Also, tell us what you found most interesting in the group's discussions and designs and why.
- Remember: this is a no judgement zone for anyone who did not finish their zines.
