I. House-keeping/Class-keeping​​

• Reminder about CAs (classroom activities): These cannot be redone or receive extension, as indicated on google form, syllabus, etc.  You have to make up those points w/ extra credit elsewhere.
• Missed Class: If you miss class, always go to website--- funkdafied.org (under "hip hop rhetorics," you will see "classroom cyphers," then look for the date you need).  It's advising/dissertation season and I won't have time to answer emails about what you missed in class. The website already shows you.

II. "Show & Prove": Sharing the One-Pager Project

1. Put your name on the back of the canvas paper and indicate if/how you handled the extra credit.
2. Write your short "Artist's Statement" (this is how I score the participation point on the point-spread).
3. Join your group (there will be six groups in the room).
4. Each person in the group shares their artist's statement and their work.

First, we will review the final project. After we watch the videos above, we will do some free-writing to get your ideas & creativity flowing for RR#11 and Theme Project #4.  As you listen/watch the videos above, what aspects do you like best?
