We will also hear some Big Mama Thornton.  These two songs below ("Hound Dog" and "Ball and Chain") were made "famous" by Elvis Presley and Janis Joplin (who also reaped the money), but the sound, soul, and lyrics were SOLELY Big Mama Thornton.
